Learning to learn

Well, I was really curious yesterday what I would write about in my diary and, especially, how I would manage to do it. Honestly, I suppose the amount of mistakes I already made is bigger than the number of words I used. I rewrited the word "write" three times! Can you believe it?)))
Anyway, remember the first lesson in our textbooks usually was called "Learning to learn"? So, I think this is the most appropriate first lesson for me, too. Don't be such a coward, there is no shame in learning and other common facts.
Today me and mom made a lot of shopping (can I "make shopping"?) and we bought presents for most of the family. This was good news. Then we chose wonderful pendants and earrings for mom, Natasha's birthday (don't tell her!) and me (mine are supercool:vict. This was perfect news. Finally, we bought a handbag for me. I think you should know the whole story to understand. We were searching for weeks in the internet and shops, I had something terribly close to hysterics and in the end we thought there won't be a perfect handbag for me. Believe me I understand that I'm a drama queen But! Today we've found a beautiful, distinctive, MY handbag! And this was the best news of the day) The day was really cool, wasn't i?
P.s. I've forgotten to tell you! When I got to hair removal, I met a wonderful creature. She was tall, had long hair, french manicure. dressed in high boots, breeches and a shirt made of ropes or something like that aaand she was a man)) It's not big deal but a little bit strange. In good way I think, just unexpectable. She uses a soft voice and looks like a nice person)

In general - everything is quite fine, no grammar mistakes (exept: the amount of mistakes I have already made ) aaaaand the position of words in a sentence.

обычно все же - to go to shopping
This was perfect news - не уверена, что стилистически верно, по крайней мере я не очень поняла, что ты имела в виду)

С yesterday замучилась, двадцать раз переставляла)
А как быть с новостями? Они же всегда пишутся во множественном числе, а употребляются с глаголами как в единственном, нет? Оо Страшный, страшный язык)

С грамматической стороной все в порядке, я не уверена, что ты имела в виду: просто отличные или прямо идеальные новости? : )) вот со вторым вариантом у меня и возникли сомнения хД
Да и вообще по-моему все прекрасно : )) и с формированием мысли тоже на высоте)

А с несчастным yesterday в таких случаях можно поступить гораздо проще - поставить его в самое начало предложения )

Тогда все-таки не perfect, а great. exellent, awesome и все в таком духе) перфект в значении "отличный" будет в каком-нибудь таком предложении: " That was a perfect day for.." где это подразумевает "наиболее подходящий, самый лучший для чего-либо" или просто: "Perfect." - "Отлично" как-то так)
